Gluten Free Bread (Panasonic Breadmaker)

This original recipe is from Panasonic. I have added weight measurements. Results not guaranteed on other bread makers.

Ingredients:

  • 310mL/1.25 cup milk

  • 2 eggs, mixed before adding

  • 16g/1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 40g/2 tbsp oil

  • 60g/3 tbsp honey

  • 4g/1.25 tsp salt

  • 150g brown rice flour

  • 300g potato starch

  • 7g/2 tsp xanthan gum

  • 8g/2.5 tsp instant yeast, 1 standard packet

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients in the listed order above into the bread maker.

  2. Set to setting 7 and start.

  3. The machine will start to knead. After 6 minutes, the machine will beep again for you to manually open and scrape the sides.

  4. After the beep, do not disturb the bread for the next 1 hour 50 minutes.

Q: Can I do this recipe with other breadmakers?

I believe these are presets on traditional bread makers, but you could attempt by hand. The time breakdowns are:

  • Knead: 20-25 min

  • Rise: 35-40 min

  • Bake: 50-55 min
