This is originally mentioned in THIS Instagram Post.

Ingredients: 3 LARGE portions, 4 regular portions

  • 1 lb ground beef, I prefer 88/12 for this but anything works

  • ½ yellow onion, diced

  • 2-3 bell peppers, seeded and diced. I shoved so much pepper into this LOL

  • 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce. I used the Spicy Calabrian Chili sauce but the Rosatella is also super tasty! You can also make your own sauce.

  • ½ jar-worth of water to thin out the sauce, plus extra as needed

  • cooked pasta for 4

Directions:

  1. On a cold pan, add the ground beef. Turn the flame to medium to allow it to render out its own fat.

  2. Cook ground beef until the fat has rendered out.

  3. Add diced onion and saute until translucent, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add diced bell pepper and saute for 2 minutes until slighly wilted.

  5. Add jar sauce and stir to combine.

  6. If the sauce looks too thick, add ½ jar of water to loosen everything up.

  7. Cover to heat through until sauce is simmering.

  8. Add in cooked pasta and stir to combine.

  9. Serve and enjoy!

FAQ:

Q: I don’t want to use store-bought sauce. Do you have a pasta sauce recipe?

Yes! I always recommend my take on Spicy Vodka Sauce. Make sure to also thin out the sauce with some additional cream or water.

Q: How should I store this?

These will last 3-4 days in an air-tight container in the fridge. Anything past that, I’d recommend storing in the freezer.

Q: What [tool] did you use?

Everything I used in this video is here (Shop My).
